2025 CCEDA Policy and Funding Conference
Navigating The Changing Landscape
CCEDA’s 2025 Policy & Funding Conference will take place Tuesday, June 10th 2025. It is our goal to attract a wide variety of community economic development (CED) funders, including banks, Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs), Community Development Corporations (CDCs), Faith-Based institutions, and other CED nonprofit organizations. The conference will cover current and emerging funding opportunities for community development organizations, best practices representing a sector of outstanding CED organizations, and an important update on policy issues and challenges we all face. The conference is comprised of panels and information sessions designed to encourage networking among participants. It will be held at
The Hyatt Regency 200 S Pine Ave, Long Beach CA
The 2025 CCEDA Conference focuses on increasing equity and access to resources in low-income communities and communities of color. The theme, Navigating The Changing Landscape, encourages attendees to hear from our panelists on how recent and ongoing policy and financial support need challenges have impacted our organizations and how to most effectively adjust to maximize our effectiveness in the communities we serve. CDCs, CDFIs, CAAs, and Faith-Based institutions have uniquely positioned themselves to address the needs of Disadvantaged Communities (DACs). Many of the smaller CDCs, CDFIs, and CAAs are led by people of color who are particularly well-positioned to provide culturally competent and effective services and programs to low-income and under-resourced communities. However, these organizations need support in navigating the ever-changing regulatory and policy issues as well as accessing critical funding capacity that could set California on a path to leading the nation in creating an equitable landscape for those DACs. Also, there is a great need to address the increasing access to much-needed resources such as affordable housing, renewable technology, small business assistance, etc. We cannot afford to allow these communities to be left behind, as they have been in the past. It is up to community-based organizations, funders, and financial institutions to work together and ensure that low-income communities are prioritized and well-resourced.
If you have previously registered for the CCEDA conference in January, your registration fee will be honored. If you have questions, please email Faith Larson on the CCEDA team at Faith@cceda.com. The 2025 CCEDA Conference provides the space to do that work, strengthen networks, harness funding opportunities, and create a shared vision for a new California.
