Joining CCEDA

CCEDA is the only state organization that advocates for community economic development in California. CCEDA is a membership organization of over 200 nonprofit community-based organizations, government representatives, and community-minded corporations committed to systemic economic and social change in California’s disadvantaged communities.  Our members realize that efforts to eliminate poverty must address a variety of needs.  In their respective communities, CCEDA members are actively engaged in the following range of activities:

  1. Housing
  2. Commercial and industrial development
  3. Employment training
  4. Sector intervention
  5. Job creation
  6. Business expansion
  7. Business start-up
  8. Microbusiness enterprises
  9. Provision or facilitation of human services
  10. Asset building strategies for low-income communities
  11. Individual Development Accounts (IDAs)

All classes of membership have $50 membership dues.
